Delivery Information

IMPORTANT PLEASE READ – Covid-19 Update:

MyHermes have changed their delivery procedures due to the Covid-19 situation. They are now making contact free deliveries. 
 
For parcels requiring a signature the MyHermes courier will temporarily sign on your behalf to avoid unnecessary contact via hand-held devices. This will ONLY happen when the customer opens the door and gives their name for security reasons. The courier will stay at least two steps away. If there is no answer, the parcel will be returned to their depot, they will re-attempt delivery 3 times.
 
UK Mainland Orders
 
We offer delivery by the Royal Mail or by a choice of courier services.

You can choose your delivery method and check the costs in the web shop checkout area, before paying.

For small, lightweight items, Royal Mail is recommended. For any shipments weighing over a few grams, we recommend courier delivery, as the Royal Mail is no longer providing competitive delivery costs.

We offer a choice of courier delivery services:

MyHermes (No Signature). This is our lowest cost service. Delivery is usually within 4 working days.

MyHermes (Signature Required). Delivery is usually within 4 working days. A signature is required upon delivery.

3 Day Courier. Delivery is usually 2-3 days after ordering. We usually use UPS, but may use an alternative courier service if appropriate.

If you require your order urgently, you can select Royal Mail Special Delivery* (see covid-19 update below). This service will deliver before 1.00pm the next working day, if booked before 3.30pm. This applies to the UK mainland only, non-mainland destinations may take longer. Please check with the Royal Mail for delivery times in your location. Items shipped by Special Delivery on a Friday will be delivered on Monday (next working day). If you require a Saturday delivery, please contact us directly for details and charges.

Special Delivery Guaranteed by 1pm – A notice from Royal Mail.

“For items posted from Thursday 19 March 2020 onwards, we’ll no longer guarantee deliveries by 1pm the next working day. We’ll still prioritise Special Delivery parcels and letters and will aim to deliver by 1pm or before the end of day. Resource implications of the latest coronavirus advice means we may not be able to meet the customer promise of guaranteed next day delivery in all locations at all times.”
 
Please note, the Special Delivery option may not always be available to select.
 

Please remember that First Class Post is not a guaranteed next day delivery service. If you require your order urgently, please select Royal Mail Special Delivery. 

Non UK Orders

We ship to many countries.

You can chose your shipping method in the check-out area of the web shop and check the costs before paying.

You can select your country in the check-out area of the web shop.  Most orders can be shipped by regular air mail. We try to keep our delivery costs as low as possible. Charges are based upon the weight of the goods ordered. Low cost, heavy items therefore cost more to ship than lightweight more expensive items. You can check your delivery costs before paying, by going to the web shop check-out area. Don’t forget to enter your country into the drop down box. Please contact us directly if you require courier delivery. 

Non-Delivery 

Other than Royal Mail Special Delivery, goods are not guaranteed for next-day delivery. Please allow up to 10 days for the goods to arrive. Non-UK destinations can take longer. All claims for non-delivery are investigated thoroughly within the limits set by the Royal Mail or the respective courier service.
